LEADERSHIP FOR A STRONGER FUTURE
Leadership for a stronger future means putting students, families, and taxpayers first. As a lifelong resident, small-business owner, and current school board member, I’ve built a record of accountability, transparency, and common-sense decision-making. With over 20 years of hands-on experience and a commitment to skilled trades, workforce education, and affordable pathways to success, I’m running to help East Central College refocus, rebuild trust, and create real opportunities for the next generation.

Family Values & small business leadership
I’ve been married to my wife, Leslie, for 18 years, and together we’ve raised two kids, Ivy (13) and Paul (9). Family is at the center of everything I do and the reason I care deeply about the future of our community. As a lifelong resident, I believe in hard work, personal responsibility, and giving back to the place that has given so much to my family and me.
For more than 20 years, I’ve been self-employed as a state licensed electrician and federally licensed gunsmith and manufacturer. Owning and operating two licensed businesses has taught me the value of accountability, safety, attention to detail, and earning trust every single day. Running a small business also means understanding budgets, meeting payroll, and making responsible decisions that affect families and livelihoods. Those experiences have shaped my work ethic and the values I bring to public service: honesty, transparency, and a commitment to doing what’s right for our community.
Leadership that delivers
I currently serve as a board member for the St. Clair R-13 School District, where I have worked to build a clear and consistent voting record that reflects the priorities of our taxpayers, teachers, parents, and—most importantly—our students. I believe leadership requires transparency, fiscal responsibility, and the courage to make decisions that put students first while being mindful of the financial impact on our community. Every vote I cast is guided by common-sense principles and long-term planning, not politics or pressure.
In addition to my work on the school board, I serve as a director for Crawford Electric Cooperative, where we focus on reliable service, infrastructure investment, and responsible growth to meet the needs of our region. That role has strengthened my understanding of large-scale budgeting, oversight, and strategic planning for the future.
I am also a trustee of the Owensville Gun Club, where we emphasize safety, mentorship, and supporting youth programs and veterans in our community.
Public service, to me, is about showing up, listening, and doing the work. It’s about protecting taxpayer dollars, supporting educators, and making thoughtful decisions that strengthen our schools and community for the next generation.
Priorities & vision
After two failed ECC propositions, our community has spoken clearly. People want leadership that listens, earns trust, and respects taxpayers. I believe East Central College must refocus, re build credibility, and prioritize what truly matters- Skilled Trades, workforce education, career training, and affordable pathways to success.
With income taxes and personal property taxes under pressure, schools and colleges will face difficult budget decisions. These choices require steady, experienced leadership with a proven record of responsible votes and common-sense judgment to ensure every dollar is spent wisely.
As an East Central College Trustee, I will stand up for Students, support workforce education, and protect taxpayers. For the past two years, I have attended ECC board meetings, taking the time to listen, learn, and understand the challenges facing the college. I will bring the same disciplined, accountable approach I’ve demonstrated in my voting record to ensure our college remains affordable, transparent, and rooted in community values.
Most importantly, I want to show the next generation what’s possible through hard work, dedication, and service. I’m running to give back, to lead responsibly, and to help build a strong future for our community.
